first post!
welcome to our first blog post. here we’ll be posting updates about our project and journey from the east to southwest as we build our land collective.
another goal for this blog is to talk about things that we need for our collective and ways that people can help us.
some dreams i have for our land collective:
- tool library
- maker’s space/community art studio
- tea house and garden
- watering hole/garden
- med house with illness isolation rooms
- communal kitchen and pantry storage
- bathhouse
- composting systems (humanure and other organic material)
- earthen buildings
- growing and making our own food and medicine
- possibly some little animals?
- shade structures
- natural water catching/berm and swale retention
- less plastic usage, more compostable, reusable, pre-plastic materials
- decolonial, anti capitalist, anti settler education
